Perry Binder is a smart-alec college professor who offers fun seminars and keynotes for education/law/business organizations. Perry’s classes emphasize the importance of humor, social justice, and empathy as the key ingredients for effective teaching and learning. In 2008, he received the Robinson College of Business MBA teaching award and in 2005, he received the college’s Teaching Excellence Award. Years earlier, he litigated complex business cases in Miami, and received the Dade County Bar Association's Pro Bono Award, for service to individuals unable to afford legal counsel. Currently, Perry volunteers for the Atlanta After School All-Stars, which facilitates innovative learning programs for at risk middle school students.
Perry is a member of PAGE (Professional Association of Georgia Educators) and NSA (National Speakers Association), and is a former radio talk show host who frequently appears in the media, including USA Today, The New York Times, and ESPN Classic.
